With the launch of 'Aiming Higher', a campaign by UNHCR to battle against the odds for refugees with only 3% that are enrolled in higher education by funding scholarships for talented refugees. This campaign was launched in December 2020, and private and government funding has already contributed 68% of funds needed to reach their target of 9,200 scholars enrolled and studying.
In 2021, Dusoul by Dhamani was proud to be a part and to support this amazing initiative for women's education initiative that was initiated by UNHCR. We donated 5 beautiful pieces from our signature styles by Dusoul with all proceeds have gone into funding a step closer to the empowerment of women.
